We do try to avoid reducing services whenever possible and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Any lines that have been affected or any train times that have been altered are listed below:

Chester Line:   

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

Ellesmere Port Line:

  • Due to a late running train:
  • The 0842 Ellesmere Port - Liverpool service will terminate at James Street 
  • The 0918 Moorfields to Ellesmere Port service will start at James Street will at 0924

New Brighton line:

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

West Kirby line:

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

Southport line:

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

Hunts Cross line:  

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

Ormskirk: 

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

Kirkby line:

  • Services are currently running as scheduled.

On some occasions Merseyrail trains will run as semi-fast services to help restore a disrupted timetable. This means that trains will run directly between two appointed stations, not stopping at stations in-between. For more information, please follow the link - Semi Fast Train Information
