When we run a limited rail service, we realise that some passengers may not be able to use their monthly or annual season ticket to travel during industrial action.
If you are unable to travel on a strike day you will be entitled to the equivalent of a day’s travel in the form of a refund.
To claim this please complete the below form within 28 days of the industrial action taking place and please retain your ticket if it has expired, until your claim is resolved. We will contact you if we need any further information but you MUST include your Photo card ID number or Smart card number (18 digit number on back of the Smart Card starting in 633597) on this form in order for your claim to be processed. Your claim will be processed within 20 working days.
These arrangements are only available for monthly and annual season ticket and Railpass holders. For all other ticket types our normal refunds and compensation arrangements apply. Please see our Passenger Charter for more details.
