Dibbinsdale Nature Reserve

Brotherton Park and Dibbinsdale comprise an area of over 80 acres of park and woodland.

Situated between Spital and Bromborough, Dibbinsdale Nature Reserve is one of the finest examples of ancient woodland on Merseyside. Dibbinsdale Nature Reserve is an exciting but peaceful ancient woodland with fantastic walkways, a fishing pond and a beautiful walled garden.

The River Dibbin runs through the reserve with 3 miles of maintained pathways leading through native woodland, tunnels, wetland areas and wild meadows. It is a haven for bird watchers and if you're lucky you'll spot the colourful Kingfisher.
