Anglican Cathedral

Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral is an example of extremes, it is the largest Cathedral in the UK and the fifth largest in the world. It is also home to the the UK's largest organ and the world's heaviest bells! The bells weigh in at 31.5 tonnes and also hang the highest of any others, 67 metres above ground.

It's worth a visit just to take in this beautiful building that is part of Liverpool's illustrious history, and there are tours of the prominent central Tower. Also look out for special events held at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral throughout the year.
