Day Saver

Make as many journeys as you like throughout the day with a Day Saver ticket.

Day Savers are valid for unlimited travel on the Merseyrail network, only excluding peak hours 06:31 - 09:29 Monday - Friday. Outside of these hours, including all day weekends and Bank Holidays you can hop on and off the train as much as you want with a Day Saver!

You can now buy an All Area Adult and 18 and under Day Saver online. Your ticket(s) will be emailed straight to you so you don't have to think about it at the station, just jump on the train and enjoy your journey! 

Simply click the link below, get your tickets and then all you need to think about is all the places you can go. All other tickets are available to buy at any Merseyrail station. 

Day Saver ticket prices

Adult fares range from £4.45 for '1 area' and £5.95 for 'all areas'. If you are unsure of how many areas your journey passes through, use our Journey Planner to calculate the cost of your ticket.

Young People (aged 15-18) can travel for 50% off the adult price. Please note, that you may be asked for ID as proof of age if you are purchasing a Young Person's ticket.   

Tickets are available for purchase from booking offices at staffed stations and from ticket machines located at our stations.

Ticket Restrictions: Day Savers are not valid for travel between 06.31 and 09.29, Monday to Friday and Railcards are not valid for use with this product. Day Saver tickets are not valid for use on the City line.
