Merseyrail is partnering up with Chester Zoo to give away a Family Ticket this Spring!

Are you searching for the perfect attraction for all the family this Easter half term? Look no further than Chester Zoo! 

Visit Chester Zoo between 23 March and 14 April and join the Really Wild Easter Egg Trail! Discover GIANT animal eggs and collect your prize from the gift shop. Plus, you might even spot the new, highly anticipated, snow leopards!

Enjoy special on-site activities, from storytelling to interactive shows, and look out for a giant chicken around the zoo on Easter weekend too!

Travelling to Chester Zoo is simple. Chester station is just a 40-minute train journey from Liverpool Central, and as you leave the station, the 1 and X1 bus stop is directly across the road, which will take you straight to the zoo. Buses run on a frequent basis Monday to Sunday. You can plan your journey with Merseyrail here.

  • The Chester Zoo Family Ticket competition opens at 00:00 on Wednesday 20 March 2024 and closes at 12pm on Wednesday 27 March 2024.
  • There will be 1 winner in total entitled to one family ticket to Chester Zoo (two adults and two children, value £114, and valid for 12 months).
  • The winner will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received and shall be notified by Chester Zoo email within 5 days of the closing date and will be required to supply details of a UK delivery address.
  • If a winner has not responded after 28 days, an alternative winner will be drawn.
  • Chester Zoo will deliver the prize. Merseyrail and Chester Zoo reserve the right to substitute any product with an alternative product of equivalent value.
  • The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative. No purchase required. Void where prohibited.
  • The Family Ticket rail voucher will be posted once the winner has been selected.
