Meols Beach is ideal for families, couples and friends looking for a great day out.
Situated at the end of Meols Parade and the junction with Bennets Lane, Meols Beach is one of the Wirral’s quieter beaches. The beach stretches all the way on to nearing Hoylake and Moreton. The high sea wall and access down the public slipway may account for the fewer bathers, but the expanse of sand and fresh breeze attracts more active pursuits. The beach is becoming increasingly popular with powerkites and sand boarders.
The beach is also manned with lifeguards during the summer months who can provide information and advice on tide times and safe access. Other facilities include a café/restaurant, toilets, a shop and a nearby pub.
