We are changing the Northern line timetable from Saturday 2 June 2018.
Saturday 2 June
Due to the opening of our brand new station Maghull North, the Northern line timetable is
Saturday 2 June to Sunday 29 July
Liverpool Lime Street station is undergoing a major upgrade - its biggest since the 19th Century.
Between Saturday 2 June and Sunday 29 July, the transformation reaches its final major phase before completion in October 2018. There will be significant changes to mainline services
in and out of Lime Street station.
We expect a lot of extra passengers to use our network, and because of this, trains on the Hunts Cross line will start and terminate at Liverpool South Parkway. A rail replacement bus service will run between Hunts Cross and Liverpool South Parkway stations. Six car trains will run when possible and there will be additional staff on hand to help you get to where you need to be.

Planned Engineering Works
With the new station opening on Monday 18 June, there will be some engineering works on Sunday 17 June between Ormskirk and Walton stations.
During these works, we’ll be running a rail replacement bus service between Sandhills and
Ormskirk stations to get you where you need to be.
Temporary Changes to Chester & Ellesmere Port Timetables
We want to make sure Wirral line services stay on time while Lime Street mainline station is
closed, so look out for a few temporary timetable changes to the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines.
