A Family Ticket can be used for a family of up to 5 for just £13!
It covers 1 or 2 adults travelling with children aged 5-15. Each group must include at least one adult.
Valid for unlimited travel, only excluding peak hours 06:31 - 09:29 Monday - Friday. Outside of these hours, including all day weekends and Bank Holidays you can hop on and off the train as much as you want!
The Family Ticket is valid on both the Northern and Wirral Merseyrail lines and on Northern Rail on the City Line.
Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of travel from your nearest Merseyrail or Northern Rail booking office.

Child tickets are 50% less that adult train ticket prices. If you're travelling in a smaller group with 1 or 2 children one of the options below may work out cheaper.
Child Day Saver - priced from £2.10 for One Area or £2.80 for an All Area's Day Saver ticket. A Day Saver is also valid for unlimited travel off-peak travel on the Merseyrail network, and you can even buy it online here before you travel, saving time at the station.
Child Return Ticket - Return tickets for passengers aged 15 and under start from just £1.15.
