Great Howard Street Roadworks
There's never been a better time to beat the congestion, with a series of roadworks in Liverpool city centre that will lead to traffic queues and increased journey times by car. The planned works begin with Great Howard Street, a key route into the city centre for people coming from north Liverpool, Bootle, Litherland, Crosby, Formby and Southport.
Work on Great Howard Street, which may include partial closures and diversions, is expected to last for approximately 6 months. It will particulary impact commuters and people driving in for city centre events.
