Liverpool Lime Street station is undergoing a major upgrade - its biggest since the 19th Century.
Between Saturday 2 June and Sunday 29 July, the transformation reaches its final major phase before completion in October 2018. There will be significant changes to mainline services in and out of Lime Street station.
We expect a lot of extra passengers to use our network, and because of this a rail replacement bus service will run between Hunts Cross and Liverpool South Parkway stations. Additional bus services will also run for passengers travelling into the Liverpool City Region.
Six car trains will run when possible and there will be additional staff on hand to help you get to where you need to be.
Car parking will be limited at Liverpool South Parkway during the upgrade. Passengers are strongly advised to use public transport to access the station.
You can check rail replacement bus timetables in the following section.
Lime Street low level station won’t be affected and will remain open to passengers.

There is also a weekday express bus service that runs between Moorfields and Hunts Cross. Times can be found here.
