Merseyrail has once again partnered with the Liverpool Echo for their annual Environment Awards. The Environment Awards are a celebration of true excellence, and recognise the successes of businesses, community groups, schools and individuals in the area striving to make Merseyside a healthier and greener place to live and work.

The goals of the Enviroment Awards are simple:

• To RECOGNISE the best environmental businesses. schools, community projects and individuals.
• To THANK those who are making a difference, be they winners or nominees.
• To FEATURE the green heroes in the Echo in print and online.
• To CELEBRATE their magnificent achievements at a fantastic Awards Night.

In conjunction with the Liverpool Echo, we are calling on organisations across Merseyside to tell us what they have been doing over the past 12 months to make our city a greener and healthier place to live and work.

There are 11 awards available and they are completely free to enter, no project is too big or too small, just tell us about it.

How to enter

Simply download a copy of the entry form HERE, complete it by telling us which category you want to enter and tell all about your green initiative, then send your completed entry by email to [email protected]

Closing date for entries: Friday 2 February
