Food and Drink Festival Comes to Liverpool Central

Merseyrail are sponsoring this weekend's Liverpool Food & Drink Festival and some of the exhibitors visited Liverpool Central station to give passengers a taster of the delicious treats that will be on offer!
Passengers were spoilt with tasty samples from Liverpool's popular Almost Famous, well known for it's burgers, chilli dogs, wings and fries. Scrummy snacks were also on offer from The Hub, Bistro Qui, Button Street Smokehouse and Bretta & Co. They were joined by one of the region's best chefs Paul Askew who will be at the festival with a pop-up of his new restaurant The Art School.
Liverpool Food & Drink Festival will transform Sefton Park into food heaven on the 19th and 20th September. A celebration of local culinary talent combined with lots of activities for children, it is a Great Day Out for the whole family.
