Southport Football Club is an English association football club with a loyal following.
The club play their home games at The Merseyrail Community Stadium which has a capacity of 7,000, and their team colours are yellow and black. Southport FC currently play in the Vanarama National League, were the come face to face with local rivals Tranmere Rovers and Chester FC.
Merseyrail has sponsored Southport Football Club’s stadium since 2012 as part of the efforts to support local communities around the network. Developing relationships with community partners and supporting regeneration in the Liverpool city region is at the heart of our commitment to social responsibility.
Over the last few years, our relationship with Southport Football Club has gone from strength to strength, and we look forward to building on this flourishing community programme with the club.
