Surrounded by water on three sides and with strong breezes from the Irish Sea, it is a haven for "Windcatchers", there is no more perfect place than Marine Lake.

Set on the very tip of the Peninsula with stunning views of the Welsh Hills this man-made saltwater lake is fast becoming one of the top tourist destinations. 

The Lake is home to the Wirral Sailing School, which offers courses in sailing, windsurfing and canoeing, making it the ideal place to indulge your adventurous side.

Visitors can also enjoy Marine Lake by taking a leisurely stroll around the border of the lake or along the stretch of beach from West Kirby to Red Rocks at Hoylake.
