Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is a stunning water sports and visitor centre located in the heart of Crosby Coastal Park, Waterloo.
The £10 million centre forms part of the gateway to the Mersey Estuary, which sits alongside the internationally renowned Antony Gormley's Another Place Iron Men statues. The centre offers a variety of water sports, activities for all ages, a fitness suite & classes, meeting suites available to hire, perfect for any social event and not forgetting the fantastic Lakeside Bistro & Bar.
The Bistro & Bar offers a tranquil marine front location, an inviting interior and not forgetting about the delicious food and drink at great value. The contemporary British, Pan European cuisine is of the highest quality and ingredients are locally sourced as far as possible, delivered fresh daily, and prepared to order. So whether you are wanting breakfast, a lunchtime light bite, or a full evening bistro meal; your every need will be catered for.
The centre allows individuals and groups the opportunity to experience water sports and adventurous activities on its 24 hectare lake within Crosby Coastal Park. The centre is recognised by the Adventurous Activities Licensing Service, the Royal Yachting Association and can offer British Canoe Union courses. There are also courses in learning to sail, paddle, windsurf and powerboat.
A state of the art fitness suite offers a wide range of equipment, both Cardio Vascular and resistance that is also designed for people with disabilities. There are also a number of health & fitness classes throughout the week.
