Chester Football Club is a supporter-owned association football club which was founded in 2010 following the winding-up of Chester City FC.
The club began its initial season in the Northern Premier League Division One North following a successful appeal to The FA against their initial placement in the Northwest Counties League. Currently Chester FC are in the Vanarama National League.
Chester FC play their home games at the Deva Stadium which holds approximately 5,300 fans. The stadium has three sides of seating and one terraced end known as the Exacta Stand, Harry McNally Terrace, West Stand and the South Stand.
The club had a successful first three seasons winning the NPL Division One North (2010-11), the NPL Premier Division (2011-12) and the Conference North (2012-13).
