Liverpool ONE

Where better to do your Christmas shopping then in the heart of the city centre? Liverpool ONE has every brand you can think of; from designer shops such as Harvey Nichols, Jo Malone London and Reiss, to high street shops including Zara, Stradivarius, JD Sports and department store John Lewis and Partners. Shop till you drop all day and come night time you can truly appreciate the magical Christmas lights and Christmas tree that stands proudly in the heart of Chavasse Park in the centre of the Liverpool Alpine Village presented by Bar Hütte.

Bold Street Liverpool

The home of independents, Bold Street, offers not only a magical array of lights and festive décor to accompany your shopping trip but also hosts some of the most unique and exclusive independents across the North West.

Baltic Triangle Liverpool

One of the region’s, if not the country’s coolest hangouts, the Baltic Triangle is filled with quirky shops and eateries where you can indulge in some Christmas shopping while also supporting the city’s independents.

Men’s wardrobes can be topped up at SEVENSTORE on Norfolk Street, which stocks brands including Off-White, Acne Studies and Adidas.

The highly acclaimed Dorothy on Jordan Street is a real find, with conceptual prints, products and artwork to suit most tastes, while older art, as well as furniture and vintage clothes, can be found at Red Brick Vintage in Cains Brewery Village.

Chester

Chester is a haven for shopping and it’s even more magical during Christmas time. With the oldest shop front in England and two high streets which offer you high-street havens, independent galleries, antique shops and chic boutiques; you will find yourself spoilt for choice. The Grosvenor Shopping Centre is home to over 60 stores including The Perfume Shop and homeware and gift store Sostrene Grene. So make a day of it, head to Chester for a shop and enjoy a bite to eat after it and soak up the magical Christmas atmosphere.

The Rows, Chester

Possibly one of the most beautiful places to undertake your Christmas shopping, The Rows in Chester are the higher-tier of shops that you have to climb narrow steps to reach along Watergate Street, Northgate Street, Eastgate Street and Bridge Street, as well as smaller areas set off the main streets such as Rufus Court and Godstall Lane.

Start your day at The Flower Cup on Watergate Row where you can grab a warming drink before heading next door to The Violet Palm to pick up some Christmas plants and flowers. Then move on to Harriet & Dee, also on Watergate Row for festive cards and gifts.

Over on Bridge Street Row, you’ll find NICHOLS & Co which have lovely soya wax scented candles and home accessories, while The Rows Jewellers nearby is brilliant for finding pieces of jewellery to treasure.

There are many, many more independents here, so make a day of it and take your time, soaking up the history and festive decorations along the way.

Southport

Southport is a great place for you to shop for exclusive Christmas gifts; with hundreds of stores to cover your every taste from high street brands to unique boutiques. The famous Lord Street comes alive at Christmas when the trees are ablaze with twinkling lights. You can also pop to the Wayfarers Shopping Arcade which is bursting with unique and independent shops, perfect if you’re hoping to find something different for your Christmas party. It’s hard not to get into the festive spirit when you’re shopping in Southport this Christmas!

Cheshire Oaks

West Kirby, Wirral

From arts and crafts shops to clothing boutiques, there’s so many independent retail offerings to be found in West Kirby. And with the train station right in the heart of the town, you can step off the train and right into the shops.

For a good quality clothing item, Wrogue and Wrobe on Grange Road is a good place to start. Stocking a wide range of clothing, shoes, jewellery and handbags, it’s a great place to find that perfect outfit.

Over on Crescent Walk, you’ll find Roost Home Living where you can stock up on home accessories that also make lovely presents.

There’s also plenty of little coffee shops and restaurants, so be sure to schedule in pit stops along the way.
