At the National Water Ways museum, located a short distance from Ellesmere Port station, families and enthusiasts are brought closer to the modes of transport that bore the load of the industrial age. Both historically stimulating and picturesque, the water ways adjoining to the museum provide a stark picture of life 200 years previous, even in their much quieter contemporary form.
