Look no further if you want a unique experience full of laughs and brain- teasing activities as the Quirky Quarter is the perfect day out. Where nothing is quite what it seems, there is no doubt the family will have a good time here! Even better- children under 5 go free!

Nerf Centre Liverpool

Need somewhere to offload all energy and have some serious fun? Nerf Centre is the place! For those who are above 4, Nerf Centre is the safe, fun and friendly battle zone; it's so good that it has won multiple Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence awards over the past 6 years.

No need to worry as safety is a prime concern with fully padded crash mat walls, flooring and obstacles.

Lady Lever Art Gallery

For those who love art, you can't go wrong with the Lady Lever Art Gallery. The gallery houses one of the most beautiful collections of fine and decorative art in the UK and includes many world-famous Pre Raphaelite artworks, Chinese ceramics and Wedgwood jasperware. Even better, its FREE!

Sugar and Dice Board Game Café

If you fancy something a little bit different yet wholesome and very entertaining, the Sugar and Dice Board Game Café is definitely one to consider.

With an abundance of board games to play for all ages and delicious food on offer, there is no way you can be bored here!

Escape Live

The newly launched Escape Live is a thrilling day out with several exciting escape rooms where you can test your investigating skills and teamwork, such as Prison Break, Dr. Watson's Office and Peaky Blinders. 

Rooms are suitable for all ages but children under the age of 10 may find some elements difficult. Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tenpin Southport

Tenpin has various fun games and activities; there is bowling, pool tables, arcade games, table tennis and even a laser tag arena! Junkyard Golf Club

Under 18-year-olds are only allowed to play on Sunday – Thursday before 6pm, and must have an over 18-year-old present with them.

Rollerdrome

Get your skates on and head on over to Rollerdrome! Visit the roller-skating rink and enjoy the unique experience, whether you are a beginner or advanced, with a variety of classes and events available.

World Museum

Discover and learn something new at the World Museum which reveals millions of years of the Earth's history through many exhibits and hands on activities. There is something that everyone will find interesting, whether that's the abundance of species in Aquarium, the creepy crawlies at the Bug House, blasting off to Space, roaming with the Dinosaurs and the Natural World or exploring Ancient Egypt.

The Potting Shed

This hidden gem is a great place for your crafty kids to make something that they can keep forever, whether that’s painting pirates and princesses, or the more practical pots and plates. All ages and abilities are welcome, so no need to be an expert! If you want to go somewhere different, this is the place for you.
