Parkrun organise free weekly timed 5k runs around the world. Open to everybody and free and easy to take part. Events take place in parkland surroundings and everyone from all abilities are encouraged to have a go, it doesn't matter if your pace is walk or sprint.

Birkenhead Park
Where is it?
The run takes place in Birkenhead Park, Park Road West, Claughton, Wirral, CH41 0EZ. Run entirely on tarmac paths, the course is two laps around the scenic park.

The run takes place at Crosby Leisure Centre, Mariners Road, Crosby, Liverpool, L23 6SX. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, grass and sand along Crosby's stunning coastline.
