Otterspool Prom
The Otterspool Promenade provides beautiful views across the River Mersey, especially on a bright day.
A footpath can be found adjacent to the river stretching from Aigburth to the Albert Dock. Why not enjoy a long, scenic walk from either end and stop off at the Miller and Carter restaurant in between where outdoor seating is also available so you can enjoy the view.

Crosby Beach
The spectacular sculptures by Antony Gormley stretch along Crosby beach and are a must see, especially in the sun! Another Place consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea.
The Another Place figures - each one weighing 650 kilos - are made from casts of the artist's own body standing on the beach, all of them looking out to sea, staring at the horizon in silent expectation.
Having previously been seen in Cuxhaven in Germany, Stavanger in Norway and De Panne in Belgium, 'Another Place' is now a permanent feature in the UK, at Crosby Beach.

Southport Beach, Parks & Gardens
Southport is the perfect location if you are looking to enjoy some sun! There’s Southport Beach with miles of golden sand and the iconic Southport Pier, the UK’s oldest surviving iron pier with stunning views and a cycle friendly promenade.

- Kings Gardens on the Marine Lake, with vintage cast iron shelters, landscaped gardens and Venetian bridge.
- Lord Street Gardens, romantically designed with fountains, water features and plenty of seating to chat.
- Victoria Park, home to the Southport Flower Show, with stretches of lawn and pathways it’s perfect for a picnic and ball games.
