On The Train

Guards (and drivers) are on duty on board all of our trains to carry out operational and revenue protection tasks and also to assist passengers if they have any problems or concerns whilst on board our trains. Every carriage of every train has CCTV camera’s and records clear images that are monitored by security staff. British Transport Police officers and Carlisle Facilities Security staff patrol on train and stations 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
