If  you are planning a family day out to any of the wonderful attractions or events happening across the Merseyrail network, we have good news for you! You can now buy a Family Day ticket from any of our staffed stations to offer excellent value for money.

The new Family Day ticket can be used for up to 2 adults and 3 children travelling together for any journeys on the entire Merseyrail network during off peak hours.  This ticket can take you as far as Liverpool, Chester and Southport.

It is valid on all Northern, Wirral and City Line trains within the Merseytravel boundaries

The price of the family day ticket costs just £9.95 for 2 adults and up to 3 children travelling together, which amounts to less than £2 each for unlimited travel on the entire network for the whole day.
