In 2004, following further fundraising, an Outpatient Annex was opened, allowing the Hospice to also offer Outpatient Services.
In 2006, Woodlands launched a Capital Appeal to raise the £2.37 million necessary to build a 15-bedded inpatient unit extension to its existing services. On June 6th 2009, the inpatient unit opened and now Inpatient Services are offered in a brand new Inpatient Unit. All bedrooms are single occupancy, each with an en-suite bathroom and french door access to the landscaped gardens.
Other services offered include the Community Therapy Outreach Service which enable patients and carers to access the complementary therapies, stress management, Occupational Therapy assessment and Physiotherapy at home and Support Services which include Carer Support and Bereavement Support.
