Any lines that have been affected or any train times that have been altered are listed below:
Chester line:
Due to a track fault, services on the Wirral line are disrupted. Services for Chester & Ellesmere will start/terminate at Birkenhead Central.
Rail replacement buses are in operation to run between Birkenhead Central and Moorfields.
Ellesmere Port line:
Due to a track fault, services on the Wirral line are disrupted. Services for Chester & Ellesmere will start/terminate at Birkenhead Central.
Rail replacement buses are in operation to run between Birkenhead Central and Moorfields.
New Brighton line:
Due to a track fault, services on the Wirral line are disrupted. Services for West Kirby & New Brighton will start/terminate at Birkenhead North.
Rail replacement buses are in operation to run between Birkenhead North and Moorfields.
West Kirby line:
Due to a track fault, services on the Wirral line are disrupted. Services for West Kirby & New Brighton will start/terminate at Birkenhead North.
Rail replacement buses are in operation to run between Birkenhead North and Moorfields.
Southport line:
- Services are currently running as scheduled
Hunts Cross line:
- Services are currently running as scheduled
Ormskirk line:
- Services are currently running as scheduled
Headbolt Lane via Kirkby line:
- Services are currently running as scheduled

Sometimes, Merseyrail trains will run as semi-fast services to help restore a disrupted timetable. This means that trains will run directly between two appointed stations, not stopping at stations in between. For more information, please follow the link - Semi-Fast Train Information
