Royal honour for Merseyrail charity champion

Merseyrail’s Community Involvement Manager, Sally Ralston, was presented with the British Empire Medal (BEM) following her recognition in the inaugural King’s honours list. She was nominated for her work which over the years has raised close to £1m for local charities and community organisations.

Merseyrail helps to turn Blue Monday into Yellow Monday

Merseyrail teamed up with Liverpool BID’s ‘Yellow Monday’ campaign designed to banish the blues and brighten up people’s start to the week. The Liverpool BID campaign has seen giveaways of coffee and pastry, a lunchtime Yoga class, a morning mindfulness class and a sound bath at Liverpool Parish Church. And Merseyrail was delighted to join in the fun.
