Southport Flower Show

Are you planning to attend the Southport Flower Show this year?  If so, get yourself there with Merseyrail.  We have trains running into Southport throughout the day so travelling to the Southport Flower Show will be easy.

The Southport Flower Show, for those of you who don’t know is an annual gardening event that takes place in August.  Visiting the Southport Flower Show is just for keen gardeners, as anyone who has been before will tell you, it is a great day out for all of the family.

Every year the Southport Flower Show attracts people from far and wide, either coming to experience the show as a visitor or to take part in the show as an exhibitor and every year the show gets better and better.  The Southport Flower Show began many years ago and has always been able to pull in the crowds no matter what the weather.

This year the Southport Flower Show is running August 19th through to August 22nd and Merseyrail can help you get there.  You can currently travel from Liverpool Central through to Southport every 15 minutes and it will take you less than 45 minutes so getting to the Southport Flower Show should be extremely easy.

If you are planning on attending the Southport Flower Show but are coming from the Wirral and further afield you should head to Liverpool Central as mentioned above as you can get one train straight through to Southport and get to the Southport Flower Show without any fuss.

Please be aware that there is currently a bus replacement services running between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Central due to engineering works.  This replacement bus service is running July 24th to August 27th so if you are planning to attend the Southport Flower Show remember to allow a little extra time for your journey as the bus will take slightly longer than the train usually does.
