Mersey Ferries

One of Liverpool’s most iconic sights is the ‘ferry across the Mersey’ – and what better way to see the city and its surrounds?

Starting from Liverpool’s Pier Head, the ferry journeys across the iconic waters to nearby Seacombe and Woodside. On board you’ll witness Liverpool’s UNESCO world heritage waterfront which includes the renowned three graces, Albert Dock and the city’s two cathedrals.

The daily River Explorer Cruise runs year-round and includes an on-board commentary describing the inspiring sights you’ll see from the ferry’s deck. You can choose to stay on the ferry and enjoy a 50 minute long cruise or hop on and off when it docks at Seacombe where you can alight for Spaceport. Or alight at Woodside for the U-Boat Story.
