Liverpool Central Library

The multiple award-winning Central Library is a beautifully re-modelled building with a number of new services. This library is more than just reading a book.

Central Library now has Wi-Fi access throughout the building and on top of that there are 150 computers and iPads. If you fancy a gaming session, why not make the most of the game area with free access to play Xbox 360. Encourage children to enjoy some quiet time with stunning spaces that allow them to discover and explore books. Rare books can be found in the Hornby Library, Oak Room and Picton Reading Room; with up to 15,000 books to choose from.

After you’ve had a good read why not relax on the roof terrace and take in the spectacular views. Or even visit the Deli Marche Café, for a coffee and a catch up and enjoy the external terrace overlooking St John’s Gardens.
