The Atkinson

The Atkinson is a hub of Arts and Culture in the North West.

The 19th Century building is located on Lord Street in the heart of Southport town centre, only 4 minute walk from Southport train station.

The Atkinson offers a varied programme of live music, dance, theatre productions and A-list comedy. Regular children’s and family productions provide a fun day out for the whole family, with the on-site Bakery there to supply you with freshly made sandwiches, cakes and breads. 

If you’re looking for a bit of culture outside of performance times, The Atkinson gallery houses regular art and historical exhibitions, including Egyptology, a journey through what life was like in ancient Egypt at the time of the Pharaohs.
